Bay Area Photographer – Kristine Elizabeth Photography – Blog bio picture
  • well hello there, friend!

    I’m Kristine. I love peonies, peach tea and taking pictures. Of you.

    Being a photographer just makes sense for me; I’m an incredibly outgoing and creative soul with a knack for perfection, attention to detail and people. Despite spending much of my childhood disappointed by my little fingertips blocking my vision I have grown immensely since I decided to jump into photography in 2010. My whole world changed the first time I picked up my grandfather's old Nikon camera body. It’s amazing what beautiful images can be manufactured with just a bit of perspective and skill. My personal style of photography is a mix of casual and romantic portraiture with a timeless twist. My brand is much like my personality; candid, loving, natural and timeless. Ok, maybe I'm not timeless but a girl can dream right?

    I work hard to make sure my work can be treasured for generations. No fancy filters or extreme photoshopping here. I believe that you're painstakingly beautiful the way that you are, so why would I mess with that? I firmly believe that no two clients are the same, therefore each session and each photo has it’s own little persona. I work hard to capture a client’s true essence and tell their story through images. I believe that everyone should have a portrait of themselves that they just flat out adore and I make this my personal goal with each session I shoot.

Happy Two Year Anniversary to Someone Special {personal post}

Two years ago today (about this time actually) I finally agreed to be this guy’s main squeeze. He asked me at least once a day for almost a week but I just wouldn’t budge because I wanted us to get to know one another better. Also, his name (Eric) is the same as my younger brother, spelt exactly the same and my name (Kristine) is the same as his older sister, spelt exactly the same. Creepy right?! But on June 7th, I met some of Eric’s buddies: the sweetest couple with the most adorable little boy that I’ve ever met, Evan. After spending an afternoon watching how amazing Eric was with little Evan, I was sold. Check please! Boys: There aren’t many things a man can do to make a girl fall head over heels, but being great with children is one of them. So go learn to change a diaper or something useful, okay?  I always thought Eric was a catch but man oh man he just kept getting better and better. And still does! So long story short, today marks our seven hundredth and thirtieth day together as a couple. Time flies! Here’s some of the VERY FEW (so sad!) pictures we have taken together in the last two years. That’s us from last weekend on the right with Evan’s new little sister, Nikki.

I love you bug:)Thanks for a fantabulous two years!
