Bay Area Photographer – Kristine Elizabeth Photography – Blog bio picture
  • well hello there, friend!

    I’m Kristine. I love peonies, peach tea and taking pictures. Of you.

    Being a photographer just makes sense for me; I’m an incredibly outgoing and creative soul with a knack for perfection, attention to detail and people. Despite spending much of my childhood disappointed by my little fingertips blocking my vision I have grown immensely since I decided to jump into photography in 2010. My whole world changed the first time I picked up my grandfather's old Nikon camera body. It’s amazing what beautiful images can be manufactured with just a bit of perspective and skill. My personal style of photography is a mix of casual and romantic portraiture with a timeless twist. My brand is much like my personality; candid, loving, natural and timeless. Ok, maybe I'm not timeless but a girl can dream right?

    I work hard to make sure my work can be treasured for generations. No fancy filters or extreme photoshopping here. I believe that you're painstakingly beautiful the way that you are, so why would I mess with that? I firmly believe that no two clients are the same, therefore each session and each photo has it’s own little persona. I work hard to capture a client’s true essence and tell their story through images. I believe that everyone should have a portrait of themselves that they just flat out adore and I make this my personal goal with each session I shoot.

Abigail the Chalk Monster {personal post}

Some of you may know that, currently, I work as a full time nanny. Miss Abbey and I spend a lot of time doing a lot of things but today we tried something new. Chalk! I showed the little one how it works and sent her on her way. She plopped her tush down in the only chunk of sunlight that was making it through the redwoods. She’s a genius, right? I just couldn’t resist the sweet afternoon light. Here are some snippets of our day in the sun after being cooped from that spontaneous June rain yesterday. Enjoy!
